Goodish

Crashes with large gif files. Lacks the feature of allowing you to sort the order of your gifs. But, you can change the frame rate of the gif your viewing and analyze frame-by-frame.

PERFECT APP FOR GIFS

If your like me, you love animated gifs. But iPhones photo gallery doesnt run the gifs you save. Look no further, this app is well worth the cost!!!! Buy it if your a gif nut like me :)

Awesome for viewing gifs

Wanted an app where I could drop reaction gifs into from iTunes. And view gifs in my iPhone photo library. This worked perfectly. Even includes a pass code lock. Each update gets better and better. Incredible app!

Love it

Really good!! I get to see all of my Gifs and its great!! :D

Wheres the Scrolling?

This is one of the greatest apps I have ever had! It is definitely worth the buy! Just one thing thats missing is the scrolling. Controlling the speed of the GIFS is awesome, but it needs scrolling and zooming, like a regular picture. So if you can, please add a scrolling feature when zooming in, and Ill be 100% satisfied!

great for gifs

love it for gifs....would be awesome if it could do WEBM files too!

AMAZING!!!

This app is amazing! It was worth the buy and I hope it will also be for you! Sometimes the app cant handle HUGE GIFs, so to solve this press the speed up button once or twice it always works for me! So yeah, overall its an amazing app

thanks for the update!

The update for the iPhone 6 is much appreciated!! Original review : Ive always stockpiled GIF animations in my camera roll to use in MMS messages and it became really annoying that I couldnt view them. I searched around for an app that would let me manage my GIF collection and settled on this one. happy to report that its doing an admirable job so far. Able to organize my GIFs into albums and copy/paste into the Messages app. Worth the $3.

Thanks for adding panning!

I had asked for panning around in my GIF files, so I really appreciate this addition. Im using this app for two things: animating engines, and presenting solar availability maps over the seasons. The seamless animation of my engine designs is really helpful, and so is being able to slow down, stop, or single-frame advance/reverse through the images. I still cant get very high res maps loaded in (it hangs with 2385x2311 pixels), but at least I can play my seasonal animation solar resource maps at smaller resolutions - and pan around in them to zoom in on whats happening in a specific area. It works with my gif measuring 1048x1016 pixels. Overall Im very pleased with this app - well worth the $3 I spent on it.

Not able to add gifs on new update.

Its not letting me add new gifs to my gif folder. Please fix this.

background color

Please enable changing the background color!

Great for archiving.

I dont write many reviews, but this app is very close to perfect and I thought people would benefit from my words. Tried most .gif apps out there, this one is the best for storing gifs found on sites such as tumblr in original quality (lossless). Wishlist: wish it had playback speed control like another .gif playback app. Wish i could change background color to black. Wish it would auto detect a url you copied from the tumblr app to paste in gifplayer browser. Wish it would handle blogs from tumblr with multiple .gifs in same page (i have to use a html viewer app to find proper url for each .gif and paste in gifplayers browser one at a time). Other than that, this is a great app for saving high quality .gifs. I hope developer is listening, this app is almost a perfect all in one gif saving/viewing app . Thanks for this update, please continue.

Awsome app!

This is an excellent app! Just, right after the update, I noticed the .gif animations lagg like with poor connection but I have excellent connection, please fix

Update Bug

Animations, specifically the larger ones, are much slower now, even at the top speed. DO NOT UPDATE

Gif fan

Where do I go to watch the all the gifs I collected: ^Right Here^!

glitch?

it will not let me save the gifs to the camera roll, it says it is saved but it isnt.

The same ones??

I use this app to make edits for sites and blogs that I have. When I search the type of gifs I need,I find good ones at least, but when I scroll down the exact same gifs come up as a result. Is i this a glitch or is it supposed to happen?

Pretty good

The new sorting options are useful but most of the old issues are still here, for examples, the passcode function is still broken and the covers of album are often not shown. The build-in web browser is useful but it pops up error message for each and every broken URL, which means sometimes I have to click ten times to dismiss the messages before viewing the page. Review for previous version: The new zoom function is good but it will be better if double click can reset to the original size. The pass code protection does not work although it was working very well in the previous version. The screen of the app appears before the pass code screen appears, and the whole app screen is visible in multi task switch mode (double press home button). Another annoyance is that the icon of a folder is not always updated when the file inside is renamed, deleted, or imported. The app is surprisingly stable given the complicated nature of .gif files. I was able to browse and download 20 gif images without any crash. I have also tried gif files with transparency and with >256 colors (yes, it’s technically possible) and they were played correctly. I havent tried gif with incorporating text labels. It was pretty impressive in the way it handles gif. The user interface is simple, okay but not great. The build-in browser works okay, although I was not able to click to save gif files at several websites, especially for those with CSS layers (like Tumblr photoset). It happened frequently, so the developer should try to fix it. Another suggestion is that there should be a “quick save” option, so that the app can save images to a user-defined folder, instead of asking where to save again, again and again. It is annoying. More suggestions when viewing an image, 1) add "double click to full screen"; 2) allow moving to other folder; 3) add "reset play speed"; 4) add "random image". 5) add "reverse play". Overall, this is a good app. New requests: Add a way to slideshow all gifs: Play next gif after like after 2 loop; Add auto-scale to fit the screen

MR.

ITS COOL AND GREAT. BUT IS TOO LIMITED ONLY TO DOWLOAD GIF-PICS FROM TUMBLR, IT SHOULD BE GREATER BEEN ABLE TO DOWNLOAD GIFS FROM TWITTER, INSTAGRAM,ETC.

You cant batch move gifs to Dropbox!

I thought all along you could batch or mass move gifs to your Dropbox. You can batch move gifs into this app from Dropbox and photo album. I have up to 1.5 years worth of collected gifs in GifPlayer while deleting the useless image it stays as on the camera roll. So what? I move these hundreds of gifs one by one? Boooooo to this app. Bbbbooooooo
